National Examinations Board

The National Examination Board came into existence when the Higher Secondary Education Council was disbanded by the Education (Eighth Amendment) Act, 2073. Local levels will now be in charge of the duties formerly performed by the Higher Secondary Education Council, including school management, scholarship administration, and school approval. The Curriculum Development Center (CDC) will handle curriculum creation, expansion, and equivalency determination tasks. Now, the National Examination Board has been given responsibility for the Class 10 (S.E.E.) test as well as the Class 11 and 12 (S.L.C.E.) examinations.
